HAHA omg this is so cool lah i just noticed that i can check how many posts there are on my blog hehe! i can't believe i just discovered it today! haha okays this is my 287th post haha! :D how cool is that lol i didn't realise i had so many posts already! :D hmmm but yeahh it kinda makes sense cos i had this blog since sec 1! hmmm okayy i shall blog about internship! (: yayy haha ok it started last mon! and it's gonna last till dec 1! oh yeahh and i'm attached to psd haha! okayy so last mon we had some welcome session thingy, which was part of the centralized program for interns! (: sigh it was quite boring actually heh, they were just introducing us to the programme and then they gave us some time to mingle around with others! and that was the worst part! most boring lah i tell you! kayy haha i think i sound like some antisocial freak, but really omg, it was damn painful lah! heh ok so rachel and i were talking to our department representatives about our job scope and psd and stuff, then after that we kinda ran out of things to say, so we tried looking around for people to talk to so we wouldn't look so extra just standing around hehe. just that everyone else was still deep in conversation with their dept representatives so we crashed other people's discussions randomly haha omg ): then we finally found this other guy standing against the wall so we started talking to him haha yayy whew he was quite nice and easy to talk to! (: haha and so cool lah, he was attached to mindef! and he was doing some psychology project haha! :D
yayy and then the painful mingling session ended and we were led on this tour around psd haha (: i think there were like 6 other interns attached to psd! and omg there were 9 interns attached to mha! damn a lot lah really! heh ok anw we were shown to our tables yepp haha (: i'm sharing a cubicle with my supervisor, vicky! :D she's super nice really haha (: and quite funny at times too haha ((:
and so cool omg they set up this lotus notes email thingy for me! :D it's quite fun to use haha yayy (: and so cool haha my email address sounds so official now haha! :D and omg i have this cool footer at the end of every email! :D wow haha i didn't know my title here was senior communications executive haha :p damn cool lah! :D yepp haha so anyway min jia and i have been happily emailing each other when we get bored haha, which is really quite often haha. ): and quite convenient also cos we both have projects that involve us staring at the com for the whole day lol.
heh oh yeah and my job scope just involves me doing a lot a lot of research, and then writing a report making recommendations! and oh no, my supervisors somehow think that i'm supposed to have a lot of creative and exciting ideas or something, it's damn stress lah really! sighhh i hope they don't find my report too nooby or anything man! ): really quite stress! ahhh! ):
yepp so basically for the whole of last week, i've been stoning at my com! the whole day! ): i'm really damn bored of it lah really really! i miss amm and all our amm friends and our dear bum room! ahhh! ): i keep dozing off in my seat here omg, i really need a bum room nownownow! ahhh omg! and i wish i was with a whole bunch of other fun interns! like amm! sighhh ok now i have 1 other intern in my dept, he's called ren jie! (: yayy he's quite nice haha, just that we sit so far apart! so no chance of talking too ): and we don't even go for lunch at the same time actually, so it's really almost as good as me being all alone here ): ohh yeahh and my other colleagues are very nice haha yayy, just that talking to adults is really very different from talking to people your age! ahhh and yayy i'm glad they tried talking to me, and haha they're really damn damn nice to me haha yayy just that our convos kinda die off after a while! ahhh!
ohhh yeah the first 2 days i had lunch with my colleagues! :D heehee one of them was damn funny lah she was super interested in finding out how to say the f word in various languages haha! :D and she knew i took german before, so she was asking me how to say the f word in german haha quite funny! :D and omg lah i dunno why, but it seems like the whole dept has seen my testimonial and resume! haha and turns out the AD of my dept studied in germany! and he was from mfa before he came here! omg lah omg! :D damn cool haha and when he was in mfa, he was posted to north america and then berlin! BERLIN leh!! omg haha damn cool lah really! ((: but it must have been quite lonely there haha cos he was the only one posted to berlin heh, as in they only have room for one mfa person over there! oh man! but still quite cool yayy haha (: ooh and he's damn nice too haha he treated me to dim sum lunch on tues! (: i felt quite paiseh though haha (:
haha then on wed and thurs i had lunch with min jia! :D haha yayy that was more fun man! :D hee we were like talking a lot during lunch haha (: damn happy lah haha cos we hardly ever opened our mouths since we started work on mon lol! yepp so anyway, lunch was fun! :D on wed we ate pastamania and on thurs we ate subway! :D yay haha then on fri i ate with sharon and sheena! :D haha and they were telling me about the stuff they do at mti haha, it sounds scary also! a lot of excel work haha and a lot of calculations and figures o.0
hee oh yeahh we had pw outing on mon evening! :D haha ok lah not really outing, more like a meeting actually haha! we had to finish up our asl report! :D and yayy haha we were so efficient lah we finished it damn quickly! :D haha and we ate dinner together too haha yayy so fun! :D oh yeah i forgot to mention, sometimes, some parts of my internship reminds me of pw haha, the part where i stare and stone at the com while trying to think of ideas hehe. just that pw was more fun i guess, cos at least i could whine, or make random comments to my groupmates hehe! (: haha and we shared present for keat loong too! :D haha it was this cute tomato soft toy haha! :D ahh and so sad we didn't get to watch madagascar 2 together! ): haiz partly my fault lah sorry kayy friends cos i was held up at work! ): i was kinda looking forward to it lah omg i really need to do stuff that will take away my boredom omg!
ohh haha and on tues evening i had harmoc exco meeting! (: haha it was fun too yayy (: we ate at cafe cartel at raffles city! (: yayy haha i luv our exco haha we are really damn fun, yet we are so efficient lah, can settle things quite quickly haha yayy! ((: lol and omg haha some parts of our discussion were quite funny too lah! like the part where we were discussing attire for syf or something, then caohui said it reminded her of corpse bride! cos like, our attire was all black! haha then after that, she was like "it reminds me of sharon!" haha then sharon was like "o.0 are you trying to say i look like a corpse?!" HAHAHA omg damn funny lah really! (:hahaha and omg we drank so much water, the waiter just decided to plonk the large water jug down on the table so that we could refill it ourselves hahaha omg! and heehee we were coming up with themes for Harmonix XII! ((: hee omg so exciting lah it seems like just a while ago that harmonix XI was over, and now it's XII already! (: wow haha! so fast lah really! ah wells our ideas for the themes were quite funny too haha somehow they revolved around the number 12! wow haha! (: and lol we took some pics! hehe quite funny lah really omg! :D
ooooh yeahh and omg i think the choco dips from yakun are damn nice! :D hehe my colleagues bought it for tea break on mon and omg it's damn nice lah! it's the toasted breadsticks dipped in hot chocolate! yum! (:
and woohoo yesterday i met the other sharon to do srp in the afternoon! (: hee we sat at donut factory at velocity throughout lah haha! ((: and we were happily eating haha! ((: i think the chococino donut is damn nice! :D hee yepp so anyway we attempted to do our homework haha, i think we owed our professor this piece of homework for damn long already sighh! and we got stuck! ): sighh yepp so after that we attempted reading our notes, but it got too boring too! and omg sharon was dozing off! haha poor thing lah omg she was damn tired! ): must get more rest kayy sharon! (: hee yepp so after that we just started chatting lorh (: since she only had to leave around 7 plus and i didn't have anything to do anyway! haha yayy sharon you're really damn nice to talk to! ((: hehe it feels damn nice having a nice convo with nice people man! :D haha yepp so we talked about a lot of stuff! ((: heh yayy i luv sharon lots man! :D
haha ohh and today i went shopping with my parents after church! (: hee oh yeahh but we went for dim sum buffet at lingzhi before going shopping! (: the food rocks lah omg just that we were all damn full after that! heh luckily it's relatively healthy man, cos everything's vegetarian! ((: haha then we walked around velocity and square 2 for a while, then went to cold storage! (: haha i quite like cold storage, just that it's really very cold there haha omg i was shivering lah! o.0 hehe but oh wells, they have nice food there yayy! :D
